When one thinks of the state Colorado, you can almost hear John Denver singing “Rocky Mountain High……Colorado!”

Colorado – home to Rocky Mountain National Park, Mesa Verde National Park, Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, as well as dozens of State Parks, Recreation Areas and Tourist Attractions and so much more.

Some of our best camping experiences have been in the Rocky Mountains. From its absolutely beautiful scenery to an overabundance of wildlife, if you love the rustic feel and pristine beauty of the Great Outdoors, you will love visiting Colorado!

Colorado is one of our favorite states to visit.

For us, traveling to Colorado means enjoying naturally pure and clean waters, crisp fresh mountain air, the amazing stark beauty of the scenery, peace and tranquility found at the top of the mountains, and the perfect, still quietness which can only be found in being miles above the earth – far away from our normal city life, away from all noise, and definitely away from any and all distractions.

Knowing you are fully surrounded by God, the mountains, and the many different species of wildlife He has created draws us back to this area time and again.

For us, it doesn’t get any better than spending quality time in the quiet seclusion of the Great Rockies!
