When you think of Italian Cuisine, naturally you think of outstanding wines, tasty salads, delicious breads, Spaghetti, Lasagna, Ravioli, Manicotti, and so much more!
I had my first Italian dinner cooked by the same chef way back in the 1980’s when he had first opened a diner in Fridley, Minnesota, called Raffaele’s Supper Club, which is where I had quickly fallen in love with the fresh taste of the Italian Cuisine he had to offer.
Even though it had been years since I first tried his dishes, I again found myself going to this delicious Italian Restaurant, Buona Sera, located in the Minneapolis suburb of Champlin, Minnesota, and quickly falling for the mouth watering, just right, spicy Italian flavors I had been craving for so long.
Buona Sera has a great old time Italian vibe, and when you sit down, you will feel like you are instantly part of the family, everything about the restaurant drawing you in with its friendly, inviting atmosphere.
After settling for the Italian Spaghetti, which comes with a nice sized meatball (or Italian sausage if you prefer), I was again quickly reminded of why I love Italian food so much!
The noodles were cooked just right, the sauce was absolutely amazing – all of my favorite Italian spices (and more) added to give it just the right amount of zeal, the meatballs were cooked to perfection, melting in my mouth with each bite, and the fresh cheese which topped off this amazing dish only added to its ambiance.
The breads are extremely fresh, again reminding you of just how much care goes into the meal preparation here. The salads are crisp and clean, with the vegetables just as fresh as the breads.
Buona Sera is a restaurant that has won my approval as a favorite to visit again for years to come. I highly recommend you give them a try and enjoy their outstanding Italian Cuisine.
